Small on the outside, big from the inside,
The axis of light
This beautiful home is located in a suburban town called Ramat Hasharon, a few miles from Tel Aviv in a quiet, “sleepy” neighborhood.
The plot is a corner plot with a long front facing south and a joined wall in its rear.
A wall was built around the lot to enable a tranquil space from the outside world, the wall is integrated with the garden and when the gate closes, the exterior and interior merge in a harmony of design and colors, blending the intimate feeling of the home with the extroverted design.
The dream behind this home was to put together a big family of two divorced individuals, starting a new chapter in their lives, both with children from previous marriages and to allow a warm “sphere” while creating a feeling of intimacy and comfort as well as attempting to use as much natural light as possible and enabling air to flow and pass through all spaces.
The ground floor is designed as a one-space “loft” without any interior barriers, excluding the restroom, the space is framed with windows which reflect the garden and one can almost feel like the only thing that separates them from the garden outside are pieces of furniture.
